I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of the Moreland sisters, who live in our neighborhood. They are now facing life without either of their parents.

Their father passed away a few years ago. Earlier this week, their mother passed unexpectedly. They have no living grandparents either.

These girls have been through unimaginable losses, and their lives have forever changed overnight. As their neighbor and friend, I’ve watched them grow up and seen firsthand the love their mother poured into them. She did her best to raise them with strength and kindness, and now that burden falls to the community around them.

This fundraiser is to help cover immediate needs—funeral expenses, food, clothing, school costs, and eventually long-term support. These girls deserve stability, safety, and a chance to grieve without the added weight of financial stress.
