Support for Trystian and Kids

Hi everyone,

My name is Connie and I'm fundraising on behalf of my sister Trystian and my niece and nephew, ages 9 and 7, after their emergency relocation.

Following the separation from her common-law partner of many years, Trystian has been the primary parent for both their children, all while living on a fixed income through Ontario Disability Support Payments with no child support. They're a multiply disabled family with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) and Autism diagnoses across both generations. Since the separation Trystian has been working, first on her own and then with legal counsel, to keep her and the kids in their family home in the Leeds & Grenville area of Eastern Ontario. Early last week those efforts broke down and then on May 9th Trystian's ex partner filed a court motion to remove her and the kids from their home in less than 48 hours.

In this emergency situation our family and friends rallied and managed, on an incredibly short timeline, to find Trystian and kids a safe place to land. Unfortunately the whole process has left Trystian's financial safety net depleted. On top of replacing necessary items that couldn't be moved on such short notice, she's certain to have ongoing legal costs.
