Troy was not only my friend but also my coworker, and his presence brought warmth and kindness to everyone around him. After a long and courageous battle with Squamous Cell Cancer of the head and neck, which eventually spread to his lungs, Troy passed away this morning. His strength and resilience throughout his illness were truly inspiring, and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him.

During his illness, Troy’s wife, Lala, was a constant source of love and support. She prepared nourishing food and smoothies, took him on therapeutic walks to the park to feed the ducks, and stood by his side every step of the way. Lala’s devotion was nothing short of angelic, and now, as she faces life without Troy, she is left with many emotional and financial challenges. The funds raised will go directly toward covering Troy’s cremation and burial expenses, easing some of the immediate burdens on Lala during this incredibly difficult time.
