Love and Support for Trooper Chris Wooten

Trooper Christopher Wooten is a part of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
Chris is the husband of Sharon Wooten who is part of GR8 People and our valued teammate. On Monday July 22nd he was in pursuit of a suspect on his motorcycle who refused to pull over and both vehicles went through a red light where Chris was struck by an oncoming truck, seriously injuring him.
Unfortunately, after the performance of several medical procedures, the surgeons are classifying the injury as a complete spinal cord injury at the top of the spine, which is resulting in paralysis from the neck down.
As this news is difficult, we will stand side by side with Chris, Sharon and the Wooten family to offer of our encouragement and support in the coming weeks and months.
Unfortunate life events bring the best out in people so I’m hoping to show the Wooten family all the love and support we can through this difficult time with this fundraiser to help with his continued recovery.
