A funeral service to honor Trina will be held at Scot Ward Funeral Home in Conyers on Friday, December 12th. The viewing will begin at 12:00 pm and the service at 2:00 pm.
We welcome all who knew and loved Trina to join us in remembrance.
Update: After a long fought battle, Trina took her last breath last night around 11:30 p.m., with her son and husband by her side. We are in mourning and have a lot of uncertainty at this time. Unfortunately, this fundraiser is now being used for her final expenses. If you feel led to donate, anything amount is appreciated. Most of all this family needs your prayers and support. Thank you in advance.
Trina Gilreath has been like a sister to me since the 6th grade. She is a strong, loving, and caring wife and mother who has always put her family first. Trina is the devoted mom of a 19-year-old autistic son, whom she has raised to be a kind, intelligent, and well-mannered young man. Her warmth and strength have touched everyone who knows her, and she has always been there for her loved ones in times of need.
Right now, Trina is facing the most difficult challenge of her life. She has been in the hospital for three weeks and has spent the last 11 days on a ventilator. Doctors have told us that if she does not show improvement by the 14th day, she will be taken off the ventilator. This news has been devastating for her family and friends, and we are doing everything we can to support her during this critical time.
We are raising funds to help cover Trina’s mounting medical bills, support her family with home expenses, and, if the worst should happen, assist with burial costs. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a difference for Trina and her loved ones. If you are unable to give, we ask that you keep Trina and her family in your prayers. Your kindness and support mean the world to us during this incredibly difficult time.
