Trey is an amazing six-year-old who brings so much light to everyone around him. He is funny, full of personality, and the kind of kid who can make people smile without even trying. Whether he’s joking around, being goofy, or just being himself, Trey has a way of making every moment brighter.

Recently, his family received the devastating news that Trey has been diagnosed with medulloblastoma brain cancer. This is something no child and no family should ever have to face, and it has turned their world upside down. As Trey begins treatment, the family will temporarily live in Phoenix, Arizona for six weeks so Trey can receive radiation treatment. After that, they will be traveling back and forth to Children’s Hospital in Aurora for ongoing care, all while managing everything at home for their other kids. To be there for Trey and the family, his mom, Jolene, will not be able to work for about a year. The costs add up quickly, including gas, hotels, food, lost income, and time away from work, all while trying to stay focused on what matters most, Trey.

This is incredibly hard, and it just flat out sucks. But Trey is strong, and he is surrounded by people who love him deeply.
