The past week has brought difficult realities for our family. While Trevor continues to make progress physically, it has become clear that his recovery will take time—and during this period, he will be unable to return to work. As many families know, life’s responsibilities and expenses do not pause, even during times of crisis.

Recently, Trevor was seriously injured during an accident involving a firearm. While being shown the firearm, it unexpectedly discharged, causing a close-range injury to his hip. The damage was severe and required emergency surgery. Doctors were able to repair the injury using a metal plate and screws, but his recovery will require months of rest, rehabilitation, and ongoing medical care.

Trevor has always been the primary provider for his family. His wife is home caring for their five young boys, all 11 and under, while also managing the demands of medical appointments, limited mobility, and daily life. This season has quickly become overwhelming as the family balances recovery with the realities of household expenses and ongoing care.

Many friends and family members have reached out asking how they can help, and we are deeply grateful. This GoFundMe was created to help support the family with:

• Lost income while Trevor is unable to work

• Medical and rehabilitation-related expenses

• Mortgage, utilities, and everyday household needs

Our hope is to relieve some of the financial pressure so Trevor can focus fully on healing and regaining strength, while his family moves through this season with greater peace and stability.

Trevor is a devoted husband, a loving father, and a hardworking provider who has always shown up for others. Accepting help does not come easily, but this season has required humility and trust in the generosity of those around them.
