Hi, we’re reaching out on behalf of the Scheele family — Trent, Audrie, and their daughter Keira.

Keira is currently fighting a rare but severe infection that has spread from her sinuses to the outer layer of her brain. She is undergoing surgery and will remain at Children’s Hospital for up to two weeks, followed by several additional weeks of IV antibiotics and testing.

The emotional and financial strain this has placed on the family is overwhelming. Trent and Audrie are doing everything they can to support Keira, but being away from their other children, home and work comes with unexpected heavy costs — travel, meals, lodging, and lost wages.
