The Bird family is heartbroken to share the sudden & unexpected passing of Travis Bird on September 24th, 2025.
This devastating loss comes with even heavier grief, as Travis is the second son Margarett & Mike have had to say goodbye to. Losing one child is unimaginable, but losing two is a pain that words can hardly capture. The weight of this tragedy is something no family should ever have to endure.
Travis loved his children to the ends of the earth. His happiest moments were spent cheering them on, teaching them, and making sure they always knew how deeply they were loved.
Outside of family, Travis had a true passion for the outdoors. Whether it was casting a line on a quiet morning, heading out for a hunt, or when he was younger, lacing up his skates for a game of hockey, he found peace and joy in the things he loved most. He shared these passions with his kids and friends, leaving behind not just memories, but traditions that will carry on.
This loss has left a hole in the hearts of everyone who knew him. As the family grieves, they are also facing unexpected financial challenges that come with his passing. Unfortunately, he did not have insurance at the time. The family is asking for support to help cover funeral costs, provide stability for his children, and honor his memory in a way his children will remember.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps ease the burden during this unimaginable time. Please share this page and keep the Bird family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for showing love and support to a family who has lost so much, but who will forever hold onto the gift of having Travis in their lives.
We hope that in his final moments, he found peace doing what he loved, and we pray that his big brother, Patrick, was waiting at the gates of heaven to welcome him home.
