Hey friends not what I imagined myself asking or being the person on the other end of the benefit/fundraising table but here I am. I’m currently starting treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota. I for some reason have a rare condition that is causing me to have low white blood cell count and low nutrifills along with enlarged lymph nodes that are causing issues with my immune system causing me to have repeat infections and having to be in the hospital receiving IV antibiotics. I started last week December 30 with my first visit which led to couple days of testing including a bone marrow biopsy on December 31 followed up with a 9 hour car ride home which was not fun but didn’t have extra money to waste on a hotel if I could tuff out the ride home. A mistake I wish not to make again because I’m worrying about finances. If everyone’s prayers could get me there I would be more than covered an I can’t thank you enuf let alone ask for help with fuel and lodging for my upcoming trips. But here I am reaching out. My next trip is Jan 15,16 and will hopefully find out then how long I’m going to be up there a what options I have for treatment.As you guys no I’m not a small guy I’m overweight an out shape so I can’t ride in a smart car I’m having to rent a van to travel that far without hurting myself. My goal is to fit in a smart car an get the bs behind me I’m tired of being sick.
