Hello All,

My name is Piper and I have created this fundraiser on behalf of my friend Tracy Mourton and her daughter Addison Gentry. I've had the pleasure of working with both of these women for several years, and they are some of the kindest and hardest working people I have ever met.

As many of you may be aware, Tracy has recently experienced a life-altering health diagnosis. After being short of breath for several days, Tracy was admitted to UK Hospital on October 10th, where doctors found a large excess of fluid and small cysts on her lungs. This issue caused the right side of her heart to become enlarged due to the overwhelming stress of her poor lung function. After many series of tests and evaluations, doctors concluded that she has end-stage lung disease, with no definitive cause as to why. This news has come as an absolute shock to a 54-year-old with no prior health issues and no history of smoking. She was immediately put on oxygen and has remained in the UK pulmonary unit since.

There are several unknowns to Tracy's condition; however, one certainty is that she will need to receive a double lung transplant. A critical surgery, where if successful, will require her to be on rejection medications for the rest of her life. Tracy will be unable to work or bring in income for the foreseeable future, and the weight of this has fallen on her 19-year-old daughter Addison.
