Support for Traci Marco after the loss of Michael Deeter

Me and Mike have been together for 15 years. We recently got married on 11-12-24. On 5-23-25, Mike suffered a frontal lobe stroke with a brain bleed. He was placed in a hospice care facility on 6-9-25.

While making all the necessary phone calls, I found out that the VA would only reimburse me a percentage of the cost for the cremation. When I called Social Security to start the process so I can collect survivor benefits, I was advised I did not qualify for survivor benefits because we haven't been married for at least 9 months.

All donations will help for Mike's cremation and to pay off the vehicle, and move to a smaller apartment that I would be able to afford on my own. Any donations would definitely help. I truly appreciate you all. Please forward this message on.
