Tori Freytag is a long-time employee of Westgate Entertainment Center, and if you’ve ever ordered food at the snackbar there, you may have met her. Tori has been battling rheumatoid arthritis since she was just three years old. Over the years, she’s endured countless medications and many trips to Toledo hospital to have fluids drained from her severely swollen joints. Despite her challenges, Tori has always been a friendly face and a hard worker in our community.
Unfortunately, the years of taking strong steroids have now taken a toll on her lungs. In the past two years, Tori has spent more months in the hospital than out, most often at the Cleveland Clinic. She is now on 24/7 continuous oxygen and is unable to work. To make matters even more difficult, her mother—her only means of support—was recently hospitalized after spending two weeks at the Cleveland Clinic with Tori and then falling ill herself. With both of them unable to work, their situation has become incredibly challenging. On top of this, Tori must continue to travel back to Cleveland for many follow-up appointments, adding to the strain.
We are reaching out to ask for your support to help Tori and her mother through this difficult time. Your donation will help cover living expenses, medical bills, travel costs for appointments, and basic needs while they recover. Any support is highly appreciated. Love to all and God bless each and every one of you.
