Many of you know that within a 4-year time span, Tori and I lost my mom (her grandma), my dad (her pappa), and my husband (her dad). We came to the mountains of TN for a fresh start. To grieve. To heal. To find ourselves again.

With the first home we relocated to, we spent 3 years trying to rebuild emotionally, physically, and financially. The owner of the house (despite knowing that Scott passed away) served me with court-signed papers and a 15-day notice. His motive: To find renters that would pay 3 times the amount that I was—all so that he could relist it and get more money. Pure greed. That is what this housing market has done.

Lo and behold, through nightly/daily prayers and our Angel Army by our side, Tori and I were able to find our second home in TN. This is the home we have currently lived in for the last 2.5 years. I have been notified by the owner that he is putting the house up for quick sale and was given a 30-day notice. What a gut punch, to say the least. Two times. Two times I have had our home swiped from beneath our feet. Left with nothing to stand on.

So, here we are again.

This time is a bit different though. I have been working very hard to re-establish my credit as I was left with huge obstacles after Scott passed away. But, as best as it is, I am not in a position at this time to do anything other than rent. It's a work in progress, but I am just not there yet.

It has taken everything in me to write this. It is very hard for me to ask for help and I never do. But, I'm at my last straw and do not have much to stand on to make this forced move happen financially. I absolutely know the world is insane for everyone right now. Any little bit would be so helpful. Anything will help, even sharing and reading this post. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
