Support for Tony Meister's Cancer Battle

Dear family and friends, I am asking for your help in my Daddy's fight for life.

 

My Dad has been battling cancer for the last year or so. He and my mom (their names are Tony and Michelle for those that don't know them personally) have been doing their very best to only ask for help when it is necessary, and the time has definitely come that they need their loved ones, and everyone else willing, to come alongside them.

 

It is hard to always know the best ways to help, so here is the situation, and what I am asking you to do.

 

The first few rounds of chemo didn't help. Basically, the chemo was killing him just as fast as it was killing the cancer. After taking a break from the chemo to reassess, it was discovered that his body has been filling up with fluid that compresses his organs and has to be drained away every few days. It is full of cancerous cells. Due to this discovery, his has been thrown into an extremely quick killing chemo regimen. If his body makes it through the next few weeks, they will admit him to the hospital for a month long stay where they will flood his body with chemo until pretty much all the cells are dead. Then he will undergo a bone marrow transplant. Once he is released from the hospital, he needs to stay in a hotel, no more than 15 minutes from the hospital, for at least 3 months. He will need to be completely cut off from everyone except for his two caregivers (his wife is one) , as even a slight cold could kill him.

 

None of this sounds hopeful, none of this will be easy. It is a very lonely time for him, and for my mom.

 

My dear people, I am not a good writer, but please don't let that put you off.

 

Now to how you can personally help.

 

Please, please pray for them. Write it down and pray for them every chance you get. That they would feel God's peace and comfort in this great trial. That my dad would be strengthened in body and spirit.

 

And please consider helping them financially. They have been managing their best, but he is now going to have to quit working, and go without work for the next 5 months at the very least.

 

Here are the things I am hoping that this fundraiser will help cover:

 

~House payment

~Utilites

~Hotel (3 month stay at least)

~Insurance

~Car payment

~Food

~Basic necessity's, ect.

~Transportation (Their one car is in dire need of repairs.)

 

This is will in no way cover any of their medical bills, which, as I'm sure you can imagine, are astronomical.

His life is in God's hands, I know, but our Father in Heaven will hear the requests of his people, so whether or not you can help financially, please, PRAY.
