It is with broken hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Todd Bloodgood on March 1, 2026. Todd was only 58 years old and a proud resident of Beverly and long-time member of the Volunteer Yacht Club. Todd proudly served as Commodore of the Volunteer Yacht Club five times. He led with humility and dedication, always putting the club and its members first. If something needed to be done or someone needed help, Todd was the first to step up. He gave his time freely, quietly helping others without ever seeking recognition. His kindness and steady presence meant so much to so many of us.

Outside the club, Todd served as Director of School Facilities for the Marblehead Public Schools, where he was known for being incredibly helpful and supportive to staff, students, and parents. He cared deeply about the community he served. Above all, Todd was a devoted husband and father. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Karen Bloodgood, and his daughter, Olivia Bloodgood, 18 years old, who were the center of his world.
