BigT Jett (TJ) has always been the heart of our family, but the past year has brought unimaginable challenges. At the beginning of last year, we learned that TJ would need a double organ transplant—both his liver and kidneys. Since then, he’s been undergoing dialysis three days a week and having fluid drained from his stomach once a week. We were working hard to get everything in order for the transplant list, holding onto hope for a brighter future.

But last month, our world was shaken again when TJ had to have his left leg amputated below the knee. Just yesterday, on 1/13/26, doctors had to go back and amputate above the knee, and they also removed bone from his right foot. If the biopsy shows infection, he may lose half of that foot as well. Through all of this, TJ has shown incredible strength, but it’s been a rough road for our family. We have two kids, and I’ve become his full-time caregiver, which means I’m unable to work right now.

We are reaching out for help because the expenses are overwhelming—travel for treatments, bills piling up, and medical costs that insurance doesn’t fully cover.
