Greetings, Family and Friends,

My name is Cary Taylor-Wenstrand, and I am the sister of Thomas (TJ) Taylor. Our family wanted to share some news about TJ and provide information on how you can show your support.

As of 9/27/2025:

TJ is in stable condition at Northwestern Memorial ICU in Chicago. TJ has been struggling with physical complications that have led to serious breathing and lung viability issues. He is sedated and on a ventilator while his lungs try to heal. The family and medical team believe the road will be long and slow with ups and downs along the way. Please pray that his lungs can heal on their own.

Medical care in the ICU for lengthy periods of time can result in astronomical costs. The best way for us to support TJ is to donate to the medical costs/living expenses and sending as many prayers and positive vibes as you can.

TJ has had a positive impact on so many of us over his 54 years of life. The outpouring of support has been very uplifting for the family and we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. For those that have had the privilege of being in TJ's life also know he has a very strong will and we see him fighting even while heavily sedated.
