My beloved auntie, Tita Flor, is going through one of the most difficult battles of her life.

She is an amazing mom to five kids and recently became a grandmother to a beautiful baby boy. What should be a joyful chapter of her life has instead become painful and uncertain.

Over the past few months, Tita Flor’s health has taken a drastic and frightening turn. She has lost nearly all of her weight and strength, leaving her almost unrecognizable, frail, in a lot of pain, and unable to care for herself, and others, the way she once did. Watching someone so vibrant become skin and bones has been heartbreaking for our family.

Alongside this health crisis has come a mountain of unexpected medical bills, specialist appointments, hospital visits, and other costs that have left her and her family emotionally and financially overwhelmed.

Her husband and daughter are unable to go to work to take care of her which means no source of income for the family.

She has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, extensive pulmonary tuberculosis, fecal incontinence and foot edema. Specialists are still in the process of identifying all of her medical conditions.

We are asking for your prayers and any financial help you can give. Every donation, no matter the size, will help lift some of the burden off her shoulders and give her a fighting chance to recover, regain her strength, and be here for the family who loves her so deeply.
