Support for Timmy and Anna Fanco
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Tammy Houda. We have known the Fanco family for several years now. Liz used to coach our older son's soccer team, and our younger son, Jake, and Timmy played on the same soccer team this year. As many of you know, Timmy and his older sister, Anna, were in a horrific car crash on Friday, June 10. Both Timmy and Anna suffered severe injuries requiring them to be transported to DeVos Children's Hospital by AeroMed helicopter.
Our sweet Timmy is currently intubated. He suffered serious head trauma and had surgery to repair both his right and left femur fractures, left ankle fracture and left wrist fracture. They are currrently bringing him out of sedation in order to check his neurological status. Prayers are requested that Timmy can open his eyes and continue to heal.
His protective big sister, Anna, although not intubated suffered major injuries including fractured ribs, collapsed lung, lacerated spleen, fractured left femur and ankle, brain bleed, and now medical staff is monitoring her for a potential aortic dissection. She has been able to wake up and talk a bit, but she is being kept mostly sedated. Both Timmy and Anna now have rooms next door to each other in the Pediatric ICU.
Needless to say this is going to be an extremely long recovery process for Timmy, Anna and their entire family. On behalf of Liz and Jeff, we are creating this GoFundMe to help cover short and long-term medical expenses, therapies, family needs and so on. If you know the Fanco's at all, you know how extraordinarily close they all are and the enormous contributions they've made to the soccer, running, TeamWorld Vision and their church communities. Let's all now lift them up in our support and prayers. Any contributions will be truly appreciated.
