Support for Tim Young

Hi, my name is Sherri. Tina is my sister, and Tim Young is my brother-in-law. As many of our friends and family know, Tim began to battle Prostate cancer in 2018. He fought so hard during his treatments and his courage and positive attitude inspired all of us who watched.

Tim's health seemed to stabilize until the last few months. Initially, he thought he was having a bout with kidney stones, but the symptoms continued to progress until even walking became a difficult task. With a visit to the ER on February 8, Tim was hit with the news that cancer had returned with a vengeance and has spread all throughout his body. Additionally, they found blood clots in his legs, abdomen, and a large mass on his heart, and other areas of concern that I will not list here. The doctors are running more MRI's to see the extent of the blood clots and the cancer. The hospital has been incredible and they are putting together an oncology team to walk with Tim through this cancer journey, and help him in the fight for his life.

While Tim, Tina, and Taylor are spending all of their minutes at the hospital, doing tests, and preparing for upcoming surgeries, family and friends have begun asking "how can we help". Some of the youngest members of our family were so ready to give support, that it was their idea to love Tim and Tina in this way and support them financially while they focus on Tim's health.

We recognize that in a situation like this, there are many expenses both now and once he comes home from the hospital. House payments, utilities, transportation, food, etc. are ongoing, and medical bills, and prescription payments, will be on the horizon. We would like to help shoulder some of that load for them, especially as Tim is unable to work.

What we are asking of you, first and foremost, is for your prayers! Tim's faith is as strong as ever and we covet your prayers.
