Everyone's favorite bee-keeper, scoutmaster, bad dad-joke teller, friend, etc., is in pretty rough shape.  He's a had long health battle where he has won some, and struggled some as well.

He was diagnosed with Paranasal Sinus Cancer last year and underwent surgery and radiation at UNC in Chapel Hill.  It was an intense surgery and recovery that proved to be helpful.  Last fall, he developed an extreme bacterial infection in his brain.  He had to have two more surgeries at UNC.  They removed a large portion of his skull (he will have it put back in at a later date).  Due to all this, he has been in the hospital or a rehab facility since the beginning of November of last year.  He is currently in Mountain City Care and Rehab. 

Most days his mind is in good form but due to the severity of the surgeries and the infection in his brain, he sometimes struggles. The plan is to move him to a neurological rehab facility in Charlotte.   He needs more specialized rehab than what the Mountain City facility can do. 

Some funds have already been raised to build him a ramp and do a few projects around his house so when he comes home (hopefully soon) he can get into the house.  The funds from this fundraiser will go to help pay his numerous medical bills and to support his wife, as she has to travel to and from medical facilities.

Tim has a very long way to go, but he acknowledged the Lord has been with him every step of this journey and He will not desert him now.
