Support for Tim Hense's family

As you know, we lost one of our Shepardson family members, Mr. Tim Hense.  I know everyone – staff, students, and parents – would say he was one of the most loved people in the Shepardson community. I have never met someone so kind, so generous, so dedicated to his job for the betterment of others. He wanted Shepardson to be the best place it could be for our kids and for us, as well. To say Tim went above and beyond in order to help others is a vast understatement. In times of need, he was always, I mean always, the first to respond with whatever was being asked. He would come in on weekends to install fans to help with heat, help with the weekend or after-school events, attend choir performances and talent shows, take the time to talk with kids at lunch, stock snacks in the lounge for kids who needed it, and so much more. I could go on and on, as I know you could as well.   He was our angel on earth and is now our angel in heaven.

Tim leaves behind a large family who loved him so dearly.   Tim was the main source of income for his immediate and extended family.  In addition, he and his wife have custody of their four great-grandchildren.  They are desperately in need of financial assistance.   So many of you have asked how you can help, and this is what the family really needs during this difficult time.  Every little amount helps, and the family thanks you in advance for your donation.  Feel free to share this with your friends and family as well.  We hope to reach and maybe even exceed our goal!

We miss you, Tim.  You were the model of generosity and kindness in our community.  We shall honor your memory by sharing our kindness with everyone we meet.
