My name is LaBrittney Jackson, and I’m humbly reaching out to ask for support for my sister, Tierra Heard, and her two daughters, Autumn and Tatum, who experienced an unimaginable tragedy from a house fire that took everything they owned, clothing, furniture, keepsakes, and irreplaceable memories. They also lost their beloved Bichon Frise dog, Snowy, who was a cherished part of their family.
Tierra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has served the Shreveport-Bossier community for over 20 years. She has spent her life helping others through their most difficult moments, offering guidance, compassion, and strength. Now, she finds herself in need of the very support she’s always so freely given to others. As a mother, she is doing everything she can to stay strong for her daughters.
They have a long road ahead with rebuilding and will need clothing, housing, personal items, and basic everyday necessities. Any support—whether it’s a donation, a prayer, or a share- can help make a difference in their recovery. I truly believe that when communities come together in times of crisis, we can create miracles.
Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, but to acknowledge Him in all our ways so He may direct our paths. In this moment of loss and uncertainty, we’re holding onto that faith and praying for strength, comfort, and the kindness of others to help rebuild their lives.
Thank you for any support you can give, no matter how big or small.
With Love,
LaBrittney Jackson
