Hello everyone my name is Rita McShan and I am the mother of Tia Monette 29 a young mother killed in Milwaukee by a vehicle on Wednesday July 31, 2024.

Overwhelmed Grandmother:

It is through my tears I send this SOS out to the community and the world. I am beyond hurt that I have to bury my second child within a two year span. I am deeply hurt by the events that have taken place. As I continue raising my four grandsons, I am reminded that God will not put more on us as we can handle but God knows this is hard. We all seem to share the same problem: We live in a dangerous world where instead of watching our children grow we watch them die. My daughter Tia Monette, the mother of three was killed in a fatal car accident on 23rd and Fond Du Lac Avenue July 31, 2024 early in the morning and I’m filled with so many questions yet my responsibilities a mother and a grandmother are to make these difficult decisions. I also have to prepare my grandchildren for the future. At this moment in my life, my own future doesn’t look so bright, I have lost two daughters in the matter of two years and we are hurting. I don't know how to feel or what to do so I have to do what my mother and my upbringing has taught me which is turn to God, my family and friends along with my community and ask for help. The bible says you have not because you ask not and right now I am asking and pleading for your help. If you can be of any assistance please send what you can and it would be greatly appreciated.
