Title: Emergency Relief for My Family in Jamaica After Hurricane Melissa

Hello, my name is Claudia Castelo-Thompson and I currently live in the United States, but my heart is in Jamaica, where my family lives in the Salmon Point District of Westmoreland.

I’m raising funds for my two sisters-in-law, Claudette and Jennifer Thompson, and their children, including a newborn baby, who lost everything after Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 storm, destroyed their home and community. We had no contact for days after the storm, and when communication finally resumed, we learned that their house was partially destroyed. They are left without food, water, or proper shelter.

These funds will be used directly to provide emergency food, clean water, baby supplies, clothing, and temporary shelter for the children and their mothers as they recover and rebuild. Any extra funds will go toward rebuilding their home and replacing essentials lost in the disaster.
