On September 13th at 7:10 AM, a firefighter broke down the door of my sister's home, saving her, her three-year-old, and her 9-month-old from a spreading fire in their apartment complex. Maddie and Alex, as well as their two boys, are safe, but their apartment and many of their belongings are severely smoke- and water-damaged.
