On the morning of Saturday, September 11, 2021, our oldest son’s girlfriend’s father, Jason Zalme, suffered a massive heart attack that required an emergency quadruple bypass surgery. His wife, Heidi, and two of their three children, were out of town celebrating a milestone birthday when they received the life-altering call. They arranged for an emergency flight home and Heidi was able to see Jason before he underwent a 6-hour surgery to repair his damaged heart. He is currently hospitalized and recovering.

We hold the Zalme family very close to our hearts. Their kindness, generosity and love for our son and our family has far surpassed what anyone might expect from a girlfriend’s family.

Jason is currently the sole source of income for his family of 5 and is now facing at least a 3-month long recovery following his quadruple bypass surgery. We ask you to join us in lifting up the Zalme Family in your prayers and are arranging for this GoFundMe in order to help lighten the load in the coming months so that Jason and Heidi can focus on Jason’s recovery and not have any added stress over financial matters.
