On Saturday, January 17th, the Ybarra family experienced an unimaginable tragedy. Marcos and Roxana Ybarra, beloved parents and cherished members of their community, lost their lives in a horrific traffic accident. They leave behind their four children—Karina, Vicente, Joaquin, and Ximena—who are now facing life without the love and guidance of their parents.

The Ybarra children are surrounded by friends and family who care deeply for them, but the road ahead will be challenging. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward helping Karina, Vicente, Joaquin, and Ximena with their living expenses as they adjust to this new reality. Roxie and Marcos are very dear friends of my husband and I. My husband, Jason Benavides, and Marcos have been friends since the 2000s. They are band mates, good friends, and Brothers in Christ. Much of their time spent together was serving God with praise and worship music or their monthly game nights. Its the small things and the seemingly insignificant times that we'll miss the most.
