Support for the Yanez-Portillo Family

On Friday, April 4, the Yanez-Portillo family experienced a tragic loss when their oldest son, Junior, passed away unexpectedly.

Junior was a first-grade student at Thornton Elementary School. He was a bright, energetic child who loved playing soccer—whether with his CenTex Storm teammates or in the backyard with his cousins and three younger siblings.

In the wake of this unimaginable loss, we are coming together to support the Yanez family. This fundraiser has been created to help ease the financial burden of funeral expenses and provide space for the family to grieve without added stress.

El Viernes, 4 de Abril, la familia Yáñez-Portillo sufrió una pérdida trágica cuando su hijo mayor, Junior, falleció inesperadamente.

Junior era estudiante de segundo grado en la escuela primaria Thornton en Temple. Era un niño alegre y lleno de energía que amaba jugar al fútbol—seria con su equipo de CenTex Storm o en el patio con sus primos y sus tres hermanitos.
