I am raising funds on behalf of our family after the sudden and heartbreaking passing of my sister-in-law, Katie Woodmancy.

Katie lived and worked in Zurich, Switzerland, and her unexpected passing has left our family devastated and navigating immense emotional and financial strain during an already unimaginable time. Because she was overseas, several family members had to arrange emergency international flights and transportation with little notice in order to be together, handle arrangements, and begin the difficult process of bringing closure and honoring Katie’s life.

The funds raised will help cover:

Medical expenses, emergency international travel and transportation costs for immediate family,

funeral and memorial service expenses,

costs associated with arrangements in Switzerland, administrative and legal expenses related to an international death as well as any other unexpected costs that may arise.

While no amount of money can ease the pain of losing Katie, these funds will help relieve the financial stress placed on our family so that we can focus on grieving, supporting one another, and honoring her memory.
