Funeral and Memorial Cost for Riley Mae Witkowski

Hi, my name is Hope Hand. I’m raising money for my sister Laci Hand and her fiancé Michael Witkowski as they go through one of the toughest times of their life; Riley Witkowski is their daughter and my beautiful niece. She is 4 years old and one of the sweetest and toughest people I know. She has been in and out of hospitals her entire life battling with a genetic disease that is sadly going to take her life. She has been battling with hundreds of seizures every day since the day she was born. Having to be on tons of medications, needing to eat through tubes and going to every type of therapy they have to help her progress. December of 2022 she was put into hospice care to have access to all of the medical care she can get while being at home with her mom, dad and soon to be born brother Parker. At this point she was not progressing in any therapies and her breathing and lungs were having a hard time keeping up with her. After a year of fighting so hard and struggling to stay alive this past Christmas ,2023 ,we were blessed with the news that she had been doing well enough to graduate from the hospice program which we were all so excited to hear; having hope that she would be able to fight longer and not struggle as badly as she was for the last year. Even with this news we knew that every moment with her was still so precious and to make sure to cherish every one, because moments like the one we are currently going through we’re going to happen. Recently Riley’s health has took a turn for the worst. Riley is now in the hospital with the news that her parents, Laci and Michael, will have to decide to remove her from the machines that are keeping her here with us. An impossible decision but one they unfortunately have to make. This money will help them make end of life decisions with no stress of how to pay for funeral, memorial cost and anything else they may need while they go through the lose of their baby girl Riley. Anything that you are able to donate or even if you are able to share this information and get the word out about our girl Riley and how strong she is will help them so much and give them the ability to send Riley off to heaven without the stress of finances.
