On February 13th, my world changed forever. My sisters, Courtney and Kaylee Whitehead, along with Kaylee’s boyfriend Garret, were on their way to meet me and my fiancé for a Valentine’s dinner in Hattiesburg. Tragically, they were involved in a head-on collision and likely died on impact. Garret is currently in critical condition, and our family is devastated by this unimaginable loss.

We are now facing the heartbreaking task of planning a double funeral for Courtney and Kaylee, while also supporting my dad, Tim, who will be out of work for some time as we grieve and try to heal. The weight of these losses is almost too much to bear. Courtney leaves behind two precious sons, Brantley (4) and Axel (3), who will need love and support as they grow up without their mother. Courtney had just turned 23 on January 26th, and Kaylee had just celebrated her 16th birthday on February 8th.

We are asking for help to cover funeral expenses so my dad doesn’t have to worry about finances during this time. Any additional funds will go into savings for Brantley and Axel’s future.
