On Friday, January 6, 2017, the sons of Chris and Katie Ward were involved in a car accident near Bee Branch, AR. The boys were traveling this morning with their mother, Amanda Mckinnon, and were involved in an accident due to snowy road conditions. Many details are yet unknown. Shane Ward passed away from his injuries at the scene, while his brother Austin Ward and their mother, Amanda Mckinnon, were med-flighted to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, AR. They are both listed in critical condition as of the writing of this at 5 PM on the 6th. Their family needs our support during this time of uncertainty regarding Austin and Amanda and in their grief with the loss of Shane. Funds will go directly to the Ward family (and also to Amanda's husband, Josh Mckinnon) for meals, travel and hotel expenses, bills/lost wages, and anything else they physically need in the coming days and weeks.
