My name is Emily, and I'm a resident of Huntington Beach where on March 29, 2018 a drunk driver hit a car on PCH at Magnolia, killing 3 teens inside who were here on spring break from Las Vegas. The car was hit SO hard, it immediately caught fire, with only one occupant surviving. The families of these victims now have a likely long and unimaginable painful court battle to face and fight for justice against the person who killed their 3 kids, and left one with horrible trauma. I have become a friend of Allie Rossi. They are dealing with the unimaginable no parent, family or friends ever should have to, the last thing they need to worry about is being able to pay bills or be able to get to Huntington beach for court dates. Think about the hotel bills, gas or plane tickets, plus time off work!! As a mom and local HB resident, I amongst many others are devastated that this happened here and wanted to offer our condolences and ultimately to help the families financially with travel costs and expenses during this difficult time. It was actually suggested to me to start a fund, so here it is. The HB community had been so generous, and we will continue to give our support. 100% of monies in this fund will be to support the travel expenses of the families in traveling from Las Vegas to Huntington Beach, Ca for the court trial. I have zero contact or connection with the family of Dylan Mack nor the survivor Alexis, this is predominantly to help Allie Rossi.
Allie lost her mom at 12 years old, and became a "mom" to her brother WAY too young. She is also a single mother to a sweet little boy of her own, and figuring out the logistics of traveling for court dates is not only hard as a parent, but time off work and the financial costs.
