Support for the Vaughn Family

2020 has been hard for everyone,  but my sweet parents have been dealt many obstacles on top of the pandemic. After overcoming the shutdowns from COVID, my dad suffered a heart attack on December 14. He has “a lot going on” with his heart and damage that cannot be reversed. His doctors are trying to manage it with life style changes and many medications. It is possible he will need open-heart surgery if these medications do not do what they need to. 

On top of the stress for my dad’s health, this has also added a lot of financial stress to them both. My dad was concerned about getting to work as he lay in the hospital, and has now been told that DOT regulations require him to be out of a truck for at least 90 days. This in combination with my mother’s part-time cosmetology income being greatly impacted by COVID, and major damage from the last storm have battered them. I’m hoping to relieve any stress that I can
