the tragic death of Colin Mayer

On Friday the 5th of March, our family received the devasting news of the tragic passing of our close family friend, Colin Mayer.
Colin has been a member of our family for numerous years, as he was estranged from his own family for many years.
Colin was a man to remember, always telling us stories of his life and everything he has been through, Colin did not deserve to go this way.
We are trying to raise the funds to give him the proper funeral and burial that he deserves.
Any help and donations are greatly appreciated.

this is the news article of the tragic events: https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/au.news.yahoo.com/amphtml/elderly-man-dies-run-four-cars-busy-road-235052365.html

“A 72 year old pedestrian has died after being hit by multiple cars last night on Maitland Road at Sandgate, near Mangrove Road.

Soon after the incident, four drivers were taken to hospital for mandatory blood and alcohol testing.

Police established a crime scene and spent most of the night interviewing witnesses.

It happened shortly after 830pm and was raining at the time.

The man is believed to have walked from the median strip before being struck by the first vehicle.

Police believe the impact threw him into the second lane where he was hit by three more east-bound vehicles.

He died at the scene.”
