Support for the Tonn-Lincoln Family
Hi everyone! Some of you know me and some of you don't. For those who don't, I grew up in small town Havelock, ON alongside Adrian Tonn-Lincoln, my childhood best friend. His parents were second parents to me, and they always welcomed me into their home, their lives, and their hearts.
A few years ago, the family received news that Adrian's dad, Chris, had ALS. Adrian and his wife and two young children moved back to his parents in order to help Chris, and support Adrian's mom, Brenda. Chris passed this past Fall, and shortly after, Brenda was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Brenda underwent several surgeries and treatments, but she suffered multiple strokes and infections, and recently passed while in hospice.
Adrian and his family are now left to deal with the aftermath of losing Chris and Brenda, and are feeling overwhelmed and stressed, while trying to grieve the loss of two magnificent people. Without divulging personal financial information, Adrian and his family are in need of financial support as they settle Chris and Brenda's estate, pay probate fees, and face other unexpected finance difficulties through no fault of their own.
I acknowledge that this past year hasn't been easy for anyone, and I know some of you may be struggling yourselves with your own finances. There is no pressure to donate, but I do ask that if you're able to help them, regardless of the sum, please do. If you are unable to give, a word of support or a cooked meal (if you're in their area) would also be greatly appreciated.
Please don't hesitate to reach out of if you have any questions or concerns regarding this fundraiser.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I thank you in advance for any support you can offer.
