Hey friends,

If you know our story, then you know this has been five years in the making. Five years of seeking God's direction for our family. After multiple miscarriages and countless prayers, we felt the Lord nudging us toward adoption, and we said yes.

It hasn't been an easy road. It's been long, full of unexpected twists, waiting, and heartache. Our pillows have caught so many tears, and our Bibles are marked with every promise we've clung to along the way.

But yesterday, we got the call.

We've been matched with a brave mama in Connecticut, and our baby girl is scheduled to be born by C-section on Monday, July 28.

This is a special case, which means we've had to join a third agency and involve attorneys in both Connecticut and South Dakota. That has added some unplanned costs—agency fees, legal support, travel, and lodging—but we are trusting God to provide like He always has.

We are traveling to Connecticut this weekend, praying and preparing to hold our daughter in our arms on Monday.
