Support for the Spirlin Family

For the past couple of years our front lobby at MHW has been brightened a couple times a week with the presence of Donna Spirlin. Donna works hard as a part time security guard and is always positive and welcoming. Donna and her family need our help now. Currently she is recovering from COVID and has just lost her beloved husband, Harvey, to this horrible illness. Harvey and Donna were married for almost 40 years and shared children and grandchildren as you'll see in the photo above- it's obvious that Harvey was a proud grandpa! Harvey spent 9 days in the hospital battling COVID and was unable to have visitors until the end of his battle. Donna is left as head of her family now and is still recovering from COVID herself. She works for Gaston County Schools in addition to her security work at our site.  Without insurance she faces a mountain of medical costs. It is our hope that we can come together to help ease some of Donna's burden. Please consider giving what you can to not only help Donna financially, but offer her hope in this very dark time.
