Alex Souza and his wife Tais have been active members of our community for over a decade. Alex owns a local business, and Tais is a realtor. Together, they have raised two wonderful daughters—one who recently graduated, is entering her freshman year of college, and will soon join the National Guard, and another who is entering her sophomore year of high school. The Souza family is deeply involved in their church, athletics, and many aspects of our town, always giving back and supporting others.

On the early morning of July 7, Alex was detained in Indian Village in Acton, Massachusetts while on his way to work. This unexpected event has been devastating for the Souza family, who are now facing considerable legal fees as they work to navigate this challenging situation. Their lives have been turned upside down, and the uncertainty has placed a heavy burden on their hearts and minds.
