Support the Soles Family: Honoring a Veteran’s Legacy

We’re reaching out to our compassionate community to support the Soles family during a time of unimaginable loss. Krista Soles, a cherished friend and colleague at Artemis Gynecology in Lockport, is mourning the sudden passing of her husband, JR (Albert) Soles, on March 13, 2025.

JR was not only a dedicated U.S. Army veteran but also a loving husband, father, and friend. For over three decades, he faced significant health challenges after a life-changing accident, yet his strength, love for his family, and zest for life never faltered. Despite being a quadriplegic, JR's passion for hunting, target shooting, motorcycles, and spending time with his wife Krista and three children—Jacob, Elizabeth, and Victoria—remained unwavering. He was also an exceptional mechanic and a talented artist. Krista, ever the devoted wife, made immense sacrifices, reducing her work hours to care for JR, managing both the physical and emotional challenges of being his primary caregiver.

While the Veterans will assist with a military funeral, Krista and her family still face significant costs for cremation and other funeral expenses. JR’s unexpected passing has left them in financial strain, and now, we’re asking for your support to help ease this burden.

Krista has always been a pillar of kindness, strength, and selflessness. It’s our turn to give back to her and her children. Your generous donation, no matter the size, will help cover these costs and provide them with a little extra support as they navigate life without JR.
