On Thursday, January 2nd, Casey was transported to Enloe Hospital where he began receiving necessary treatment for a rapidly-moving infection from an unknown source. His body is fighting sepsis and has already required two surgeries, dialysis, and a ventilator, and is being assisted by vital organ supporting equipment. He is being transferred to UC Davis in order to receive more extensive treatment.

If you know Casey, you know that he is one tough Irish SOB and that is apparent with how hard he is fighting this thing. You also know that Casey is someone who is always there for everyone, and now is an opportunity for us to be there for him and his family.

This is going to be a journey for Casey, Kelli, Cooper, Tanner, and the entire Smyth-Payne family. We are looking for any support that can be offered during this time of extreme uncertainty. All donated funds will go directly to the family to be in any necessary capacity.
