Support for the Shelton Family

Hello! On behalf of Paul and Kim Shelton, I've set up this Go Fund Me to help support the family as Paul fights Leukemia.
Paul was diagnosed with Leukemia in early July. This came as sudden and unexpected news for the family only months after Paul and Kim finished The Solvang Century, a 100-mile bike ride in central California and celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary.

Paul was immediately admitted to the UCI Cancer Center to start chemo and is currently on the ride of his life to kick cancer's a$$! Kim has taken a leave from her job to be with her husband daily in the hospital, and their two kids, Tate & Isabella - both 16 -, have been holding down the fort at home.
I've known Kim for more than 10 years. She is so kind, so loving, so warm. She never takes herself too seriously and loves to laugh. She is an amazing co-worker and an even better friend. And while I haven't spent as much time with Paul, I know he's passionate about his family, is an entrepreneur, and has recently been pursuing his college degree.

This is a family full of love and that still has so much happiness ahead of them. But LBR, cancer is no joke and takes a toll, both physically, economically and mentally on everyone in the family. Kim and Paul aren't ones to ask for help, so I'm doing it for them because no family should have to deal with this burden alone. The only thing they should be focused on is Paul's health. So let's wrap our arms around the Shelton family and show them we are here for them.
Note, I know Kim and Paul appreciate the well wishes via text and phone calls, but please be mindful that both have their hands full right now and may not be able to respond directly. Please feel free to leave a message here as I'll be making some boards for Paul's room so he knows we're all thinking about him.
8/9 Update: Looks like Paul is heading home for a week or two for a bit of recovery and rest before heading back to the hospital for another round of chemo.
