Starting this page in support of the Schwieger family— our dear friends Vanessa and Jonathan and their children, Xander and Vivienne.
The Schwiegers have tragically lost everything due to an electrical fire that happened in their home in the early morning hours of November 22. They are safe and staying with Vanessa’s parents in Oakmont. While their dog was able to be rescued, sadly their two cats did not survive the fire. All clothing and possessions have been lost.
Vanessa is a beloved preschool teacher at Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church Preschool and both children attend Tenth Street Elementary in Oakmont.
Any contributions are deeply appreciated as they begin to make their way through this process. To begin to replace everything during the week of Thanksgiving as the weather turns cold seems like an insurmountable task. Thank you for helping us to lighten the load for this wonderful family.
