Support for the Schroeder Family

Known for his love of comic books, gift for writing, and quick wit, Al Schroeder was a beloved husband to Barb and father to Jamie, Eric, Brian and his daughter-in-law Kelly. Al loved reading and writing and spending as much time learning as possible; he also worked hard to support his family. In late 2020, Al was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis, a disease characterized by weakness and rapid fatigue of muscles. After a months-long battle, he passed away peacefully on the morning of March 2.

Al worked at the same company for 40 years to provide for his family of five, including his wife, Barb and son, Eric. As Eric’s full-time caretaker, Barb and the family depended on Al’s income to cover their daily needs. In the coming weeks, Brian, Kelly and Barb will be working to get their affairs in order, but in the meantime, any donations to help cover the cost of the funeral and memorial would be greatly appreciated. Extra funds will go to helping the family with daily expenses during this difficult time.
