We are Sam and Morgan Salzman, and in August of 2025 we found out we were pregnant with our rainbow baby. At our 20 week anatomy scan, we found out our daughter had a rare birth defect called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). Her diaphragm muscle didn’t form properly, allowing her organs to migrate into her chest cavity, compressing her lungs and heart development.

Noa June Salzman was born March 27th, 2026, passing 3 days later after her organs began failing from CDH complications.
