Support for the Sagal Family

On March 9, 2019, Sammy and Emma's lives were forever changed.  They lost the father they loved very much.  Their world has been turned upside down and are on a new journey without their father.  Emma who is 6 years old, loves her daddy very much and will no longer be able to enjoy him picking her up from school, daddy-daughter dances or those special hugs and kisses he loved to give her.

Emma's mother, Teresa has seeked guidance from a Family/Marriage Therapist who specializes in Bereavement to share the news with her young daughter yesterday.  Through guidance from the therapist, Teresa was able to inform Emma  of her loss in a way that would help her cope so that it does not have a negative impact on her childhood.

Emma is on a new path of living life without her dad and will continue to receive therapy in preparation for the funeral and any other events in her life she may face with the absence of her dad.   This will help support Emma through the process of grief and bereavement.
