It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Colleen Ruggeri, who fought a courageous battle against colon cancer. Colleen was a loving wife, a devoted mother, a cherished sister, and a dear friend to so many. She leaves behind her husband Rob, her son Robbie, and her daughters Alyssa and Tina, who are navigating this unimaginable loss.

Colleen dedicated many years of her life working at Massachusetts Maritime Academy, where she became a beloved member of the community. Colleen had a remarkable ability to brighten any room, offering support, guidance, and kindness to everyone she met. She worked tirelessly to create the best experience possible for those around her, always going the extra mile to lend a hand, share a smile, or make someone’s day a little better. Her legacy of compassion and generosity will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
