With heavy hearts, we share the devastating news of the unexpected passing of sweet baby Zoe Marie Rosales.

Born prematurely on January 7, 2025, Zoe and her twin Chloe, were the greatest blessings in the lives of their parents, AJ and Beatriz Rosales and their two siblings, Ezabella and Mateo. The girls have been in the NICU for 45 days fighting for their lives. Zoe, the smallest of the two, had complications from early on in the pregnancy and was in a critical state. While Chloe remains in the NICU, unfortunately Zoe left this world in the arms of her parents on February 21, 2025. This unimaginable loss has left the family and loved ones completely heartbroken.

AJ, an active member of the community and new business owner of Triple City Combat Sports, has shaped so many of our children's lives with his active role in mentorship, Jiu Jitsu coaching and his love for children. This past year has been nothing short of difficult for the Rosales Family. Shortly after opening the gym in September 2024, he was laid off from his primary job and source of income for his family. At the same time Beatriz had a very difficult and high risk pregnancy with the twins which prevented her from working and she was put on bedrest for the remainder of her pregnancy. This in turn put both parents out of work and has caused significant financial hardship and endless daily trips to and from the hospital while still needing to take care of their 2 other children at home.

As a community, I feel it is our responsibility to give back to the man that has given his everything for us and our children. Coach AJ has spent decades directly shaping and impacting our community through his love and passion for not only the sport of Jiu Jitsu but also the unwavering love he has for his students. He is a positive role model and assists in the nurturing of each of his students individual growth in both Jiu Jitsu and themselves.

This GoFundMe has been put together because the truth of the matter is that AJ and Beatriz feel like they are alone in this. I am asking from the bottom of my heart to help me prove them wrong. AJ and Beatriz are some of the most humble people I know, and they won’t ask for help even if they are in need of it. I will be the first to tell you that they need it.

No parent should have to endure the pain of losing a child. As AJ and Beatriz navigate this incredibly difficult time, we want them to feel the love and support of the community around them.
